GGCB

Generation Gap Concert Band is a joint venture between the Lake Worth Senior Center and homeschooling teens from all over the DFW Metroplex.

We are unlike any group you’ve ever seen! We are Seniors and school children, 5th graders and 55+ers who come together every week to learn and grow and share with each other in the common endeavor of making MUSIC!

We are musicians of every level and ability. Some of us are just beginning (regardless of age), and some of us are dusting off and becoming reacquainted with instruments that have languished in our closets and memories for years.

Each spring and fall, we meet weekly to learn how to read music, play instruments, and prepare for our concerts. In so doing, we also gain valuable skills like musicianship, critical listening, and teamwork.
