Generation Gap Band Program offers free classes at Lake Worth Senior Center for senior citizens and homeschooling teens (ages 11+)
We are unlike any program you’ve ever seen! We are Seniors and school children, 5th graders and 55+ers who come together every week to learn and grow and share with each other in the common endeavor of making MUSIC!
We are musicians of every level and ability. Some of us are just beginning (regardless of age), and some of us are dusting off and becoming reacquainted with instruments that have languished in our closets and memories for years.
Each spring and fall, we meet weekly to learn how to read music, play instruments, and prepare for our concerts. In so doing, we also gain valuable skills like musicianship, critical listening, and teamwork.
